01 About G.O.A.T. Foods

G.O.A.T. Foods is a family-owned company that has built a collection of exclusive food brands. Each brand is selected by a team of chefs and food scientists to deliver the best possible experience to the consumer.

The company sells through Shopify storefronts while managing manufacturing, inventory and distribution behind the scenes. As the operation grew, the distance between its online stores and its internal systems became the biggest obstacle to efficiency.

02 The Challenge: The Order Synchronization Gap

The gap between where G.O.A.T. Foods was and where it wanted to be came down to one problem: Shopify and the internal operation were not talking to each other. The consequences were delays, errors and a lack of visibility across the order process.

Orders typed in by hand

Every order placed on Shopify had to be re-entered into the internal system. That meant bottlenecks at peak times and mistakes that customers eventually noticed.

Stock decisions based on outdated data

Without real-time visibility, inventory figures across brands, warehouses and stores were never fully reliable, which made availability and replenishment decisions harder.

Slower fulfillment and reporting that lagged behind

Processing delays affected shipping times and the customer experience, and financial reporting was separate from the operation it was supposed to describe.

03 The Solution: One Platform, Synchronized from Storefront to Warehouse

Binhex Cloud implemented an integrated platform for G.O.A.T. Foods, connecting its Shopify stores to inventory, manufacturing, sales, purchasing and accounting, and complemented it with a change in warehouse hardware.

The implementation was structured in four areas:

1. Two-Way Shopify Synchronization

Orders, products, inventory and customers flow between Shopify and the platform in both directions. Any change made in either system is updated automatically in the other, so there is no duplicated effort and far fewer errors. New products and updated quantities in the ERP appear in the online store automatically, so what is for sale is always actually available.

2. Automated Order Handling and Business Rules

Specific rules and workflows were configured for the business: automatic discounts, shipping rates that vary by customer location, price updates, order management, shipment tracking, and notifications sent to customers when an order is processed.

3. ProGlove: A Hardware Change in the Warehouse

Alongside the software, G.O.A.T. Foods introduced ProGlove, a smart glove that gives each worker a lightweight barcode scanner at all times. Connected to the platform, it brings more automation and precision to inventory tracking, order picking and shipping, and helps increase productivity in the warehouse.

4. Reporting and Analysis

The platform’s reporting tools give the team insight into sales, inventory and customer behavior, supporting better decisions and a more informed business strategy.
