01 About Ecosteel

Founded in Tenerife with over 11 years of experience, Ecosteel Proyectos, Estructuras y Construcciones S.L.U. is a specialist construction company operating at the intersection of metalwork, passive fire protection, and structural rehabilitation. Their capabilities span metal structures, stainless steel and galvanized work, certified application of fireproof mortars and intumescent paints, and the rehabilitation and restoration of buildings, industrial warehouses, shopping centres, and sports facilities.

Every project Ecosteel delivers is a response to a specific technical challenge — and their portfolio reflects the trust placed in them by some of the most demanding clients in the Canarian construction sector. Their approach, defined by attention to detail, technical precision, and a commitment to Construction 4.0, has made them a reference in their field.

As the business grew and its project complexity increased, managing inventory, tools, fleet, and purchases across multiple active sites became increasingly difficult without a connected operational system.

02 The Challenge: Running a Construction Business Without Operational Visibility

Managing a specialist construction company that operates across multiple sites simultaneously creates a very specific kind of operational pressure. For Ecosteel, the challenges were structural:

Inventory and stock management without traceability

With materials, tools, and components distributed across warehouses and active construction sites, maintaining accurate stock records was complex and disorganized. The lack of a structured inventory system made it difficult to know what was available, where it was, and when replenishment was needed — directly affecting project planning and execution.

No structured tracking of tools and fixed assets

In construction, tools and fixed assets are a significant operational investment. For Ecosteel, tracking which tools were assigned to which project, their condition, and their location was a constant challenge — creating risk of loss, duplication of purchases, and gaps in project resourcing.

Purchasing and logistics not connected to project operations

Without a system connecting purchases, warehouse movements, and project delivery, coordinating the distribution of materials to construction sites, warehouses, and other destinations required manual effort — slowing down operations and increasing the risk of errors at critical project stages.

03 The Solution: One Connected Platform for Construction Operations

Binhex Cloud implemented a complete operational ERP for Ecosteel — connecting inventory, purchasing, fleet, fixed asset management, and project tracking into a single platform aligned with the realities of a multi-site construction business.

The implementation was structured in four areas:

1. Inventory and Warehouse Management

A complete inventory was conducted across all products, tools, and fixed assets in Ecosteel's warehouse. This data was loaded into the system and is now maintained through a structured inventory logistics module — giving the team precise, real-time control over stock levels, movements between sites, and replenishment needs across all active projects.

2. Purchase and Logistics Optimization

The purchasing module was implemented to streamline product registration and supplier management, while the inventory logistics module now manages the distribution of materials to construction sites, warehouses, and other destinations. The result is a significantly more efficient supply chain — with fewer manual steps and greater visibility at every stage.

3. Fixed Asset and Tool Control

Through a dedicated fixed asset management module (GIB) — natively interconnected with Inventory, Contacts, Projects, and Employees — Ecosteel now has full traceability over every tool and fixed asset in the company. Each item is assigned, tracked, and recorded throughout its lifecycle, preventing losses and maintaining a clear, auditable register of all company assets across every project and site.

4. Project Management for Construction Operations

With a dedicated project module, Ecosteel can now manage their construction projects more efficiently — including resource allocation, planning, and progress tracking for each engagement. The team has a clear view of what is committed, what is in progress, and what has been delivered, without relying on manual coordination between departments.
